History
The Piovesan legacy began in 1970, when Roberto and Vilma Piovesan established R.P. Motors, a small mechanical repair shop at the intersection of Duncans Road and Hoppers Lane in Werribee South. Initially focused on servicing cars, trucks, and tractors, the business also operated as a Caltex fuel supplier, supporting the needs of local farmers. Their dedication to quality service and strong customer relationships quickly earned them a trusted reputation within the community.
As demand for agricultural machinery grew, Robert and Vilma expanded their business to include tractor sales and servicing. By the late 1970s, the company had become an authorised Fiat tractor dealership, a relationship that evolved alongside the industry’s consolidation into the globally recognised New Holland and Case IH brands. Today, R.P. Motors is a leading agricultural equipment dealership, with a comprehensive range of machinery, parts, and servicing solutions.
Over five decades, the Piovesan family eventually established Piovesan Corporation as the umbrella entity for the Piovesan family's interests. Today, Piovesan Corporation continues to evolve, honouring its legacy while embracing new opportunities. With a strong foundation built by Robert and Vilma, the corporation remains committed to excellence, responsible practices, and continued growth overall.
